The following conditions of entry apply to ALL TEAMS ENTRANTS. Please read them carefully before entering the race.

The official online entry form must be completed by a nominated member of the Team on the Teams' behalf who will be regarded as the "Team Captain".
- Completion of entry form and payment of the entry fee represents acceptance of these entry conditions by all Team members.
- $150 from every Team entry fee is a direct donation to the John Maclean Foundation.
- Triathlon Australia (TA) membership is optional for this Teams event. Those Team members who are not members of TA will be issued with a One Day Race Membership (ODRM) which covers them for personal injury and public liability insurance only during the Race.
- All competitors must be 18 years of age or older on Race Day - Saturday 5 December 2009.
- Members of a Team are not eligible for a slot at the 2010 Ford Ironman World Championship (Hawaii).
- A team can be made up of 2 or 3 athletes . A team can be made up of any combination of male and female athletes.
- There are four (4) Teams categories - All Male, All Female, Mixed and Corporate.
- The organisers of the Ironman Western Australia Triathlon reserve the right to accept applications at its discretion and also to reject any application or issue special invitations.
- All Team members must Register on either Wednesday 2 December 2009 (from 12.00pm-4.00pm) or Thursday 3 December 2009 (9.30am-3.30pm).
- All Team Members must attend the compulsory race briefing starting at 9.30am on Friday 4 December.
- All Team members must attend a Team Orientation meeting on Friday 4 December 2009 immediately following the competitor race briefing.
- Upon completion of this online entry registration, AUD$200 (including GST) of the entry fee is non-refundable up to 5pm on Thursday 3 December 2009 , and the total entry fee is non-refundable from 5 pm on 3 December 2009.
- A member of a Team may be substituted by a new participant and notification must be received in writing to the Ironman Western Australia Organisation at admin@ironmanwa.com by 5 pm Friday 27 November 2009.
- Any Team member withdrawing from 5 pm Thursday 3 December 2009 will render the withdrawal of the entire team and no refund of Team entry will apply unless the remaining members decide to race as a 2 person team.
- The medical question section of the application must show full details of all Medical conditions, general health and surgical procedures within the previous twelve months. Medical consultation/clearance may be necessary from a medical practitioner prior to acceptance into Ironman Western Australia . In all cases, the final decision of medical consideration is at the discretion of Ironman Western Australia 's Medical Director.
- It is the responsibility of the Team Captain to ensure all Team members are acquainted with each other's personal details for emergency purposes and be fully aware of these entry conditions and the accepted waiver and indemnification declaration completed when entering.
